Default 2007 Honda Civic Mugen Si Sedan Revealed

http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/10/...edan-revealed/

Quote:
Honda today revealed a prototype Civic Mugen Si Sedan prepared by Honda tuner Mugen equipped with a high performance suspension, forged aluminum wheels, aerodynamic body styling and a sport exhaust system at the 2006 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. Planned for production in a limited quantity of 500 units a year, the Civic Mugen Si will be available at U.S. Honda dealers starting in spring 2007 with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of less than $30,000 and a full factory warranty.

The track tuned suspension, tested at the Twin Ring Motegi racing circuit in Japan, lowers the vehicle by 0.6 inches with aggressive spring and damper tuning for enhanced handling performance while still maintaining ride comfort. Compared to the stock Civic Si Sedan, front and rear damping force (both bump and rebound) was increased between 8- and 24-percent (the rate varies depending on condition). Lightweight 16.7-pound 18×7.5-inch forged aluminum wheels (27 percent lighter than the stock 17×7 alloy wheel) and high-grip BFGoodrich g-Force KDW 215/40ZR18 summer tires help to further improve handling.

For some reason when I look at the pic, all I can think of is this...

/My rims never spin, to the contrary, You'll find that they're quite stationary.

Meh, I don't think it's worth my $30,000... I can buy a better car for the same amount of $$$... Don't really care if it is a Mugen either...

I think it looks fantastic in profile, but I'm not sure if that spoiler falls into boyracer territory or not images/smilies/unsure.gif

If you looked up the definition for theft magnet, you would find a picture of this car...

Be careful when parking it next to a wall images/smilies/smile.gif (I bet you cannot see where the car ends, so you either will crash that nice spoiler lip into it or standfar away from it)

And I think the current Civic looks better in hatchback shape.

the Si looks better as a coupe. I never liked the sedans much anyway. I had the option of getting a sedan with a few more bells and whistles than my nearly bare-bones coupe and I went with the coupe. It was a bit cheaper, but mostly I liked the look of the car better.

That would be great for the gene pool of humanity images/smilies/w00t.gif (it's a bit subtle, just think about for a second)

Yuck. The best looking civic is the hatchback, all the other versions try to incorporate the same styling, and the result is just hideous. PLEASE HONDA, bring the hatchback over here!

Anyone seen the hybrid sedan with those god awful wheels? What on earth were they thinking..

they were thinking that people who drive hybrids wont care about their wheels.

This Civic sedan looks decent, but my favorite is the hatchback thats sold overseas
