My God, it really is a baby Murano!!!

That side profile reminds me of the Pontiac Aztek.... Oh no.

Nissan Murano, meet Pontiac Vibe! Now go copulate.

..and one development cycle later, this pops out.

They really need to get rid of that plastic cladding. Even Pontiac got rid of that.

Wow. That's so far removed from the concept that they should just give it a completely different name. "NotAgain", perhaps? And it really is anonymous-looking, like a Hyundai SantaFeTusconBeater. Can I have mine with the camouflage?

Reminds me of a BMW X3 somehow, thet's how ugly I think it is. That now means Nissan is now making what, seven off-roaders. Five of which we get in America. Can't really blame them, people flock to the things like they're rock concerts.

Xterra, Pathfinder, Armada, Murano, and now this. OMG! Nissan is the personification of EVIL! Polluting the air and giving us cancer, they're like EVIL crack dealers shoving EVIL EVIL EVIL SUVS EVIL EVIL EVIL down our EVIL throats!!!1

(Not a dig at you, I'm just pointing out how silly the bias is.)

I'm not saying that I'm against off-roaders, they're just very popular right now, that's all, nor am I complaining about how many they make. Obviously, it would be daft of Nissan NOT to take advantage of the market. I do, however, think this one looks ugly, but it'll be a great car cos Nissans usually are.

What matters is that it works well though and judging by how many 4X4's Nissan have, I bet it probably will. If only they made it look interesting....

Same here, I was just amused at the fact that GM, Ford, et. al get flak for building SUVs while Toyota and Nissan get away with the same thing. I images/smilies/love.gif Nissans too (see avatar) but don't really like this thing.

Please, Nissan! Can we have the Stagea? images/smilies/cry.gif

I think the main complaint about American off-roaders is, they're all basically the same car with just some different bits and trim. Look at the Escalade as an example, it costs going on $60k and is basically a Tahoe with a bigger engine and more tacky wood (plastic) trim. That's my beef with GM off-roaders. I don't mind Nissan making several off-roaders, as long as they're different.

Yeah, the Stagea is nice. I'd buy one of those over a Subraru Legacy wagon.

The Escalade is not really an "offroader". It can go off road but that's not why it was built. But remember that GM has more than just the full frame SUVs.

I was speaking of the new version but some mags took the older one off road. Nothing too extreme.
