And you suck. ![]() Anyway, we can see that without AYC, the Lancer is no better than the Subaru. That is my little ray of fucking sunshine in an otherwise dreary artice. ![]()

| Go Mazda, my buddy works at a mazda performance shop and they've dyno'd 3's with bolt ons (turbo back exhaust, FMIC, better intake) and it gains 90hp to the wheels. They're really detuned from the factory. Def. would be my choice for that price range. | |

| But it's still wrong wheel drive In all seriousness though I have been pretty impressed with the Mazda as of late it's a very nice little car, good looking and pretty quick. I still wish they'd come out with an AWD version. And come on Subaru, viscous diff? Why don't they just stick to the Legacy as being the "civilized" one and let Impreza be a sports sedan? | |

Mitsubishi have done a damn good job as their first car in this category for something like 14 years. Bit bigger turbo maybe, maybe more displacement, bigger brakes, bigger rubber - lots of room for Mitsubishi to improve in future iterations of this car. | |

| Was watching the video comparison yesterday...the 08MY WRX out of the box still makes we wonder. Honestly though, I would almost expect the MS3 to come out on top every time in a comparo like this. In my eyes, the Speed3 is the top of the line for that model...so Mazda put the best bits into that car. Where as the Ralliart and WRX (even a premium) is still middle rung in it's model line. Those Ralliarts are really going to be the new early 20s boy racer cars. I see how the Edmunds guys are, putting the ugly car in the back pretty much dictating their results ![]()

| hmmm, to me this should be between the Mazda and the Mitsu. The subaru is just too ugly to even consider. I dunno what I'd do if it were my money, both are massively impressive. also : why are the cars so low on power? American spec engines? IIRC the WRX has something like 250-260ish hp, making it the same as the Mazda | |

| It's all about to change, as the WRX is getting quite an upgrade for 2009. Makes me now want to really consider getting one. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/18/2...ded-to-265-hp/ | |

| ^ will bore you to death | If Mitsubishi made the ralliart in a hatchback/wagon version I'd seriously consider the car. For now though I'm seriously considering the Mazdaspeed3. I just wonder how much better this car would be from a dig if it had something all FWD cars lack...traction. |

| ^ will bore you to death | Should already be on dealer lots god damn it! Oh well the weak transmission and fact that it can't pull worth a damn from a dig (compared to a FWD no less) makes it a bit useless anyway. |
