Default 789 Chevrolet

The company (don't know who at the moment) is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles.

It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation "789".

I'd have one, but maybe not in those colors.

I think it looks best from the front 3/4 view (3rd picture). The side profile makes it look bizarre.

1. Hate the wheels
2. Needs less modern-looking mirrors
3. Seats need to be white leather, or at least a more retro design.

Wheels are a bit much, but I like it other than that.

It's a pity they've had to use the 'vette windscreen and mirrors - they're really out of place on it, and the overall proportions are a bit weird to me, as if they had to compromise to get things to fit the 'vette platform.

I seem to be alone here, but I love it !! I think it's absolutely fantastic. No, it isn't perfect, I also a think that the seats, the windscreen and the mirrors could be more retro looking and the taillights should be a bit smaller. And the tailpipes should be more apart.

But still....I think it's awesome. Seriously want one of those.

In general I'm not very fond of retro designs, and this is no exception.

Love it, but not a big fan of the rear. Never liked that style.

That is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Why have they welded the front and upper half(ish) of a car onto a different car? And why haven't they bothered to repaint the body panels so they are the same colour?

I'm lost for words...

I'd rather have seen it with a slightly modernized Corvette C1 or C2 body. Now that could have been quite awesome. This is just...ridiculous...

Umm, that paint is not because they "didn't bother" it's because that is the style of paint found on classic 1950s American cars. Most cars had some kind of colored or chrome insert, especially custom cars.

http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/7424/dscf4010wp0.jpg

OMGWTFBBQ! They forgot to paint the doors! WTF kind of crap is this?! Ztoopid American cars!

I'd like it if they put the old windshield in it, I'll change the wheels myself images/smilies/biggrin.gif. Classic cars look very odd without steep windshield, and old Chevy's look very odd without the wrap around windshields.

Otherwise it's the best looking I've ever seen the '59 I've ever seen images/smilies/biggrin.gif It was created by Gene Langmesser at Kanter Concepts, ans is being produced by N2a Motors.

edit: I keep looking at the car and I'm fighting not to post all the nit picks.
