Am I reading this right? 2008 Mercedes S-class convertible?

It doesn't look bad, but the roof would have to be huge and there are no pillars to help strengthen its structure.

I would really wanna see an AMG version.

land boat convertibles have their own tiny little niche, the only other really huge one is the Azure at the moment.

Looks nice and interesting, but I could never see myself choosing to buy one. Mercs are already way overpriced, the S Class isn't that bad, but taking the roof off will probably add tens of thousands to the price.

I can see how they would sell a lot of them though, especially in America.

It's maincompetitors would be the Bentley Azure and the Bentley Continental GT cab. thing so competiting on weight will not be that hard.

I can't see a problem with it. Its a pretty unusual concept but it will be an enrichment for the car market.
