i can really see the heart and soul thats gone into designing this car
the tail lights are superbly artistic
and as is just about every other aspect of the car

incase you missed it, here's the 'trailer' for the car
strongly shows the soul thats gone into making this car
+ YouTube Video

edit: This is going to have a 700hp V12 engine, so a bit more juice than the current ones and most likely a completely new engine

I'm in love with this hips - oh my, they're superb. Huge amounts of aggression with classic RWD proportions - you can't go wrong. Sure, there's some details I'm not sure on - like those vertical intakes at the front, but that's being pointy-elbows picky.

Yet, oddly, I prefer the DB9...

That is an unbelievably beautiful car! I've been an Aston girl from well back...and this just serves to solidify that devotion in me.

The Housemate and I are now spending our evening sitting around thinking up diabolical plans to enable us to afford one of these.

I love astons but this is just not very pretty. Well the rear end is OKish but the front screams boy racer, which is just not cricket for an Aston

also, it looks too much like a DB9 with some racing slashes here and there.

Strangely, I do not want. I'll have a DB9 please, in black

Agreed. For a design piece in itself, it's ok. But as the epitome of Aston Martin's 'passion', 'soul' and design expression, it's just not good enough. Why the hell would I pay £1 million for this when I can get a standard DB9, which IMO, looks better.

Charging £1 million for this is ridiculous, especially when the front looks like a fish and the back has had what looks like ugly cardboard diffusers sticky-taped on. However, the side profile is just magnificent - the proportions are spot on.

Also, Aston needs to move on from it's 'DB7/Vanquish/DB9/V8 Vantage/and the soon to be Rapide' design. And this design is still very prominent in this car. Sure it's a great design, but making every car look exactly the same has only gotten on my nerves. I want Aston to astonish (see what I did there?) us with a brand new design. I won't mind if it's not a hit straight-off, but at least it'll be something new, not another 'Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V' design.

With that said, if the One-77 has the performance of a true hyper car, then this won't be a waste of time after all.

it looks like a DBS went ahead and mated with a ferrari 599, and the bastard love child was born crying. I do like those rear lights though.

I love the rear, but I think the side vents on the front should have ended before they reached the headlamps. Like so:

My only response I can think of is "meh"

I completely disagree with heart and soul of that design, it is a pretty soulless and typical Ian Callum amalgamation.

agree w everyone else, it's a beautiful but unoriginal design and lines designed in just for the sake of designing them. You can tell the designer was under some pressure to make the car look unique lest he be accused of completely ian callum and henry fiskers designs but was too chicken (or perhaps not allowed) to design anything terribly bold or imaginative, prob because of the money at stake.

So there you go another 'halo' design for Aston martin fans w plenty of money but no guts or imagination.

I don't think it looks bad, but it definitely does not look like a car that is going to be made in very limited numbers and cost over $1 million USD. The taillights are kind of cool and the profile is nice, but it doesn't look all that special.

We're all agreed that £1m is too much for an Aston, lets discuss the styling, shall we?

It kicks ass.

I only like the rear end of the car, that too, if looked at squarely. Love those rear lights.

That said... it's the ONLY thing I like about the car.

It's no Reventon, it does not look like it's worth 2 mil in my opinion.

Maybe just below a million, but not 2.

Well I can see there are very mixed feelings about this car and mine are somewhat the same. The problem is that it’s an Aston Marin and everyone thinks it looks stunning, same like Jeremy said for the Ferraris but for me its just not.
But I will agree it kind of looks alright but not stunning or admirable as the trailer said it would be. I personally think there are much better cars which can do the job.
I prefer the side and the read. They look fine. But the enormous grill just made me say "eww".
I think that this car has potential to be a desirable and admirable car as the trailer said but I think they just over done it.
