Meh, they should concentrate on creating a new car that doesn't look like the DB7 and not all that lifestyle-bullcrap.

I'm sure the Rapide could do with a decent sound system.

Why would you drown out the V8 noise?

Because not all people who can afford these cars are true automotive enthusiasts like you and I.

![]() Quality and Beautiful??? I'm sorry but $1250 for some cordless phones or $150 for earbud headphones or one damn phone that looks like a dildo that costs $750???????? I'm sorry to call you out but B&O is the most wasteful and shittiest brand. Ever. Oh and don't even get started on there piece of shit TVs that they charge thousands of dollars (almost 10gs for 42" plasmas) that don't even have the latest technology and look like shit compared to an Elite or Samsung or anything half or a 1/3 of the cost.

All of the HiFi we have at home is B&O, and it's great, much better than everything else. Bang & Olufsen makes only class 1 HiFi equipment, if you want class 1 HiFi equipment from, let's say, Sony, then guess what... It costs just as much as the B&O. You also have to remember that B&O stuff lasts about forever, I have a B&O amplifier at home, from 1968, and it still works brilliantly and it's actually more powerfull most current ones costing the same now as it did back then. We actually have three of those cordless phones at home (one Beocom 6000 and two Beocom 2), I think it's basically the coolest cordless phone ever, with a very funny ring tone. I also have a set of Earphones Also, the TVs we have at home are B&O, all of them from before 1990, and they have never gone wrong even once, and the quality of both the sound in particular and the picture is way superior to all other conventional TVs I have seen. So basically, with B&O you get what you pay for, quality and design all the way. Their new flar screen TVs are very expensive, and the reason why, is that B&O doesn't adjust their prices, they just come out with a new model. When said TVs were new they were actually no more expensive than a similarly sized TV from Sony or Samsung, but as things progressed they didn't adjust the price, as they still have no problems selling them at that price. Pluss, it's funny how all others have now started copying the B&O design of 20 years ago... Goes to show how far ahead off all the others they are on that front...

So is Bang and Olufsen like the Mercedes S Class of TVs and Hi-Fi, also wouldn't Bose be better at sound systems, my parents bought me a pair of their in ear headphones and they are on par with Bang and Olufsens even though they're (Bose Headphones) a lot cheaper.

B&O does have some stupidly expensive products for what they are. But as mentioned they are a design studio for the mest part, but the technology most certainly isn't crap.
I've never actually heard the A8 system play, but i've seen it, and it's probably the best looking stereo in any car out there. Combine that with Aston Martin and i'm sure it's going to be interesting. B&O has actually said that they aren't expecting to make any money off of this deal, but they are doing it for publicity and the chance of getting their products in a James Bond movie

Eh the Vantage doesn't really sound all that great IMO, it's just loud.

And in regards to the TVs, B&O push the same plasmas that Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and the like do. The quality is better with the others yet they decide to charge thousands more. I figured maybe B&O had great quality but I've stared at one and compared it to the others thinking I would see a difference but I didn't even with an open mind. I love AMs and they've been known to be overpriced but if they were to team up with B&O it would just be a waste. AMs have made quality equipment without the help of them in the past and I sure don't think it will make a difference except add thousands of dollars to the tag. Quote:
