Well, according to the all knowing Jeremy Clarkson this should now be the perfect car as his only complaint was the power. If they can get the same exhaust note it will be killer.

There was a superb article in TG magazine (which I posted here) on the V12 Vantage, The author said that there are two prototypes in existence, one using a modified DBS engine instead of the DBRS9 engine, tho I think thos engines are both very similar

They must build it, it reminds me so much of the great power house Virage, but prettier.

I like the DB9 but not this one. The bonnet is full of grille and it looks a bit strange.

550 bhp in this kind of car is über droolarific though

How ignorant. That's like saying the 'Vette ZR1 is just a 3 year old car with a body kit.
I wouldn't call tweaked suspension, Carbon Ceramic brakes, 60% extra HP and less weight a car with a body kit.

Oh i'm sorry, just because i own a chevrolet means i automatically worship the ZR1?

I dont like either, to be honest. But anything "tweaked" in an upgrades list throws up all kinds of flags for me. And that front lip and hood ruins the looks of the entire car (V8 vantage) which i thought looked even better than the DB7 or DB9, to be honest.

Its the ugliest aston martin i've ever seen.

Why is "tweaking" the suspension a bad thing? It's not like the normal Vantage has bad suspension, in fact it has very good suspension so surely "tweaking" it to make it slightly more focused is exactly what you would want?

Too many people are looking past the power, it has as much as the old V8 Vantage from the 90s in a much, much smaller car. It even has more than the DBS. All of the changes to the body are probably needed to either improve high-speed stability or aid cooling to the engine.

Stuffing a V12 in the same engine bay as a V8 would surely require more cooling, hence the need for louvres on the bonnet. Aston aren't ones to needlessly mess around with styling, it's the biggest selling point of their cars.

PS: I don't really like the Aston too much.
