What's this? They appear to have made it even uglier. The mind is boggled.

It was only the front that really needed work and what they've done has made it better
What still doesn't make sense to me is seeing a Porsche with that much ground clearance I wish they'd get rid of this model or at least make it look REALLY nice because we know that technically, it's a really good 4X4. |

The Turbo (middle) looks rather agressive, like it's really angry... (Like; GRRR, I wish i was a 911, GRRR, or at least those silly soccer moms who bought me could use me off road, in stead of fitting me with 22" chrome wheels...)
That said I think the original Cayenne was, well not good looking, nor bad looking. It was kind of neutral, except the front was a bit iffy, but now they've changed it, for the better I think...

Sorry, but I still think that is one of the ugliest cars on the road and I fail to see the point of owning one. If you want a Porsche, buy a Cayman or a 911. If you want something to haul people and stuff get an estate, if it has to be sporty then get a sports estate. If you are going offroad then the Porsche sucks at that anyway and no one is going to risk scuffing their expensive alloys.
I just don't understand this vehicle, it's not even pretty. I admire the engineering of making something that big and heavy go that fast but I just don't get why. Well, I need to get my shit together and go wait for my cap to the airport. I'll check in with you guys when I get to Salt Lake. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. For all you guys outside the US, have fun at work, suckers!

The Cayenne is pretty capable off road, more than any usual driver will need. Slap on some decent off road tires and it should be on of the best stock packages out there

But I get your argument Blind Io - with all that chrome, nice carpets and leather, these sorts of car don't make much sense. But the fact of the matter is that people like 4X4 purly for ride height and now that manufacturers are doing luxo-models as well, that's a bonus for them and enough incentive to buy one. |

^it is good offroad even with Performance road tires... Cayenne's don't come with offroad tires, only low profile ones... but JC showed us it was capable of offroading even with those tires
