From the front it looks like a dismantled Koenniggseg (however you spell it) in that orange.

Not surprised it looks like an Atom though....they both need to be as lightweight as possible so they don't end up having much distinct bodywork.

I love how this thing looks like nothing else on Earth, yet we can still manage to compare it to other things that look like nothing else on Earth. Newsflash: it looks nothing like an Ariel Atom. I can see the Koenigsegg resemblance, but since they both have 4 wheels and 2 plastic seats, they must be knock-offs of each other!

I love it, KTM has always been a cool brand for offroad-motorcycles.

Most of their bikes are stripped out muscle-beasts and hopefully this car will be somewhat like that too

I'd second that, it just looks like someone barfed random fins and jet fighter-esque shapes all over it, it has no...flow, if that makes sense

It is a bit over styled, but when it looks like such a great drive, I don't really care.

As far as I can tell, its what the Atom would look like if it had a more complete body kit. I think the thing that will diffrentiate the two the most will be how much the body weighs, and if it gains this KTM any aerodynamic advantages. I can't see them being all that different, though i do have a feeling this KTM might be more expensive. I think one thing that might be nice for this would be the ability to add a cockpit cover, as it would be cool to take it out and not have to worry about the weather all the time, but thats just me.

It seems like alot of people are kind of knocking off the Ariel Atom, one because its a badass car, but two because its essentially a fancy homebuilt kit car at heart. Its not inconcievable for the intermediate-advanced metal worker mechanic to build one on their own. I saw something that was essentially a Ariel Atom in the SEMA 2006 pictures, but alot more basic and less engineered. Same concept though, small but powerful engine in a super lightweight car built from steel tubing (chromed in this case). More will come too I bet.

If all the areo works and doesn't add to much in the way of weight it sure will be pretty bad ass. although i like the super stripped down look of the atom vs. this things actually looking like a car

I get the feeling that some of you that say you hate it don't know what the KTM brand stands for.

It's not like they are some kind of low-budget kitcar company who assembles shit in a garage.
