Default Edo Porsche Cayenne Turbo

Looks like a toad images/smilies/blink.gif
http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/11/...in-46-seconds/

Quote:
Edo Competition has put together a 610 horsepower Porsche Cayenne Turbo, capable of hitting 60 mph in under 4.6 seconds. With a top speed of 180 mph, the Edo Cayenne Turbo is likely one of the fastest SUVs on the road.

Edo modifies the twin-turbo 4.5-liter V8 powerplant to achieve the impressive horsepower figure, as well as a respectable 579 pound-feet of torque. Other enhancements include tuned suspension with adjustable dampers, a lowered ride height, 22-inch wheels, and matching high-performance tires.

I think we call them "Nouveau riche" and they are mostly from Russia, China or India.

I don't like it too flashy and too orange. Even an A6 estate has more ground clearance.images/smilies/lmao.gif

Can someone please explain this to me... 610BHP and a top speed of "only" 180MPH?
600 and over should be near 200MPH.

Well it is a Cayenne Turbo, it does wiegh 5610 lb., without these stupid put ons, and the power increase is only 150 hp.

btw i noticed the Cayenne's top speed was limited to 165 mph, so what is the actual speed of it, and why is this any better?

600 bhp will give you 200 mph in something with a Cd of .30 or less but the Cayenne has a Cd of .39 so it is going to take cover 800 bhp to get you to 200 mph assuming the proper gearing.

"One of the fastest SUVs on the planet?"

Buy a car. SUVs should not be built for speed, it's against their nature. Life starts at 2mph and where the road ends.

In fact, I'm putting that in my signature.

If I can get a limo version made such as the one below I'd buy it.

http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/2393/porschecayenneexterior1mn1.jpg

And as long as it doesn't have the side lights like this one...

Edit: Scratch that... I forgot about the Corvette Limo.
