I think a lot of it has to do with the crazy lighting and harsh shadows in the official Scuderia pictures. I'm sure if you remove those eye-sore racing stripes and put the car in softer lighting (like the other outdoor shots), it won't look nearly as busy as it does in the pics. That said, I think it looks gorgeous, given it's intended nature.

I know one a dealer at a local Ferrari shop and he was telling me when the new F430 was announced, people came up to him with a blank check and told him to just order the car. The dealer went on and on about how you first have to buy a few used cars first and become part of the "family" and then you can get a good spot on the F430 waiting list. Looks like there are plenty of people out there who have no problems buying a car without knowing the price or what it's like to drive. Must be nice to be Ferrari!

If I were an avid Ferrari enthusiast and owner, I would not want my Scuderia to look only slightly different than my regular F430.

I just got the full spec sheet on the 430 Scuderia. Key numbers are 0-100km/h in "less than 3.6 secs". Top speed is 320 km/h. Torque is 470 Nm at 5250 rpm.

I've got a PDF with full specs and trim options etc which I'll upload.

if they changed all the stuff to make it look that different then why not just call it something else? It still has to look like the F430 even the GTC versios of the 360/430 don't look vastly different how far should they go before renaming the car??

The blue doesn't look, er, hard. The only thing that I don't like is the front because it looks like an Enzo. Still, it'll probably destroy a Gallardo Superleggera or a 911 GT3RS on the track...

that blue reminds me the color some 06 ninjas came in, "candy flat raw plasma blue" except not flat. awesome color. the flat black stripes really make it look good.
