Not a bad price really, for a turn key race car. I used to hang out at a race shop that sold body on white race Porsche's for about $90k...that was about 6 years ago.

Or just don't race on tracks with a lot of pot holes in them. IRS isn't as important if the surface is smooth.

I recall reading about Jags engineers not wanting to put IRS on their race cars because they didn't see the point on a smooth race track.

Hell modern race cars use such stiff suspension anyways they might as well not have any suspension at all.
