Honda Accord Coupe

Although this is only just concept drawings and chances are that the final product won't resemble the drawings, I still like it!

The Accord is Honda's best-selling vehicle. Last month it outsold the Civic (22,488 vs. 20,143 units) and to date this year 324,555 units have been sold. The Accord and Accord Coupe are Honda's bread-and-butter cars, so it is with great interest that we view the sketch above, which is the Honda Accord Coupe Concept that will be unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in early January. In a press release, Honda comes right out and says, "a bold new look for the next-generation Honda Accord Coupe will be unveiled at the January 2007 (NAIAS) in Detroit." While coupe and sedan versions of the Accord do vary in sheetmetal, their looks are practically identical ahead of the A-pillar. The Accord Coupe Concept we see in Detroit come January should reveal in its lines the next-gen Accord family.

It's extremely difficult to cull any real information about a production vehicle from a concept, and even more difficult to do with a concept sketch where all dimensions of reality are exaggerated by the artist's pen. Still, we can make out what appears to be a wider track that allows for broad shoulders above the rear fenders, something the current coupe doesn't have it all with its slicked back side sheetmetal. The C-pillar is an attractive design, as well, with a kink not unlike that of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

well, the LAST Honda concept i can remember (civic) looked almost the same in production. Most of the thinks i like on this car look like they'd make it to production unlike some concepts this looks pretty do-able

I cant wait till regular cars start looking better cuz that'll push supercar makers to make truly amazing designs

LOL... just like another manufacturer making headlights bigger and bigger as well as the so called "smile"

I honestly doubt that the production version would look anything like that, not that I care since AUS doesn't get the Accord Coupe or that I can afford it...

Who knows, maybe it's actually an NSX concept drawing but they stuck on the accord badge to trick people.

It's not just Honda, many companies are making their badges larger. With so many cars looking the same I guess that is all they have left.
