| I'm not Moe | Reviews say that it's not as fun to drive as the last Civic Type R but is more comfortable. Aren't the Type R's supposed to be the most driver oriented of the bunch? Anyway, it'll definitely sell well in the US. |

| That pic shows the Honda Civic Type R Sedan from either Japan or Europe (most probably Japan), but here in North America it's an Acura CSX. And if they were to make a Type-R version of the North American Civic, it would be called the Si-R (like the hatchback from 2002 which was the same as the Type-R from Europe and Japan.) If this particular car came to North America, it would probably be called the Acura CSX-R (cool name?) Last edited by Ilpav; February 28th, 2007 at 03:38 AM.. | |

| Coppin' a feel | The CSX is only available in Canada. Plus Acura is no longer producing the RSX 'cause it was competing with the higher end Civics.

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | I'm not sure about 200 hp up front. I had my car (base Civic) out today and took an on ramp a little too quick (I was dodging an asshole who ran a red light) and it got a little squirrely through the corner - the predictable understeer but the whole car was drifting sideways because it was a bit damp out. I know other companies are putting that much power up front and the Civic is a great chassis, I'm just not sure I would want one. I wish they did an AWD model.

you can get (for 2000€ less than the normal one) a stripped out one, no navigation, no audio, no sound proofing so yeah, it's still the most driver oriented car

| Previously Known As Jamesd | I HATE THAT CIVIC. The hatchback is 5 million times better. The sedan is just boring.. This one just looks awkward

Car: BMW E46 328Ci Rep Power: 25 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Australia is supposedly getting the Civic hatch (and the Type R), probably at the end of this year. We have to wait because demand is so high in Europe. The Integra Type R was an awesome car, but only the 99-2000 model, after that we got a watered down Type R which was basically a rebadged Type S, not the proper Japanese one.

I don't like the looks of it at all, the only thing I like about it is the engine. I agree that Honda should definitely pursue some kind of AWD platform, if not a small RWD sedan. My Celica only has 140hp, and I have to go easy on the throttle in the corners. I can't imagine how much this thing pulls. |

Car: RX-7, Jeep Cherokee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I don't know why some of you are so scared to drive high HP FWD cars. Sure it's not as good as RWD, but I've driven a few ass-draggers that were in the 300-400hp range and they were a BLAST to drive. Type-R in a 4 door? that's lame. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | We used to have the hatch Si - there was a loyal little market for them. There are a few ricers who would probably pefer the hatch and its sci-fi styling.

Car: 240SX / Civic / xB Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'm sure it will sell here because of the following the Civic has in the US... but if I were spending my dollar and performance were the deciding factor, I wouldn't select the Civic. -Justin
