| I'd rather the grille have a Hyundai badge, rather than that hideous grille. At least this car had the decency to borrow some good design cues from other manufactures.

| It looks gorgeous. There's something Ford Mondeo/Lexus/Mercedes about it, which is a good thing. And to think it'll probably come with a 5-year unlimited kilometers warranty like other Hyundai's is amazing. | |

| Lexus? Oh shi- | Wait, so even the production version will have no bodging at the front? It makes it look so odd. |

| Square with a title | I won't make fun of anyone who'd buy one but It's not exciting enough that idn't sell it and buy perhaps an old SL or an 8 series if i'd won it in a contest or something. |

| Even better to reinforce the "generic luxury car" sentiment.

Car: Whatever's in the press fleet. Rep Power: 29 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 360-something horsepower and for $30,000 is pretty damn good. I wouldn't call it the most technically advanced, original or handsome car, but at that price point, its a pretty good deal.

| Lexus? Oh shi- | ^ But he owns an Infiniti and as I pointed out before the back of this car is straight outta Infiniti's books. ![]() |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This car is debadged because people are ashamed of driving a Hyundai. Same deal with the Tibby, they changed the badge to something else... I think it was ![]()

Car: Aston Martin DB9 (In GT4!) Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Very Generic, the interior doesn't look too bad though. OT: Holy Crap! An 2005 SL for only 71k AUD!

Car: Legacy GT Spec B '07 Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | OP started this thread but is entirely missing the point of this car: the car itself is nothing remarkable compared to its rivals which are $20-40K more expensive.... but it marks a big turning point for korean cars in the world market, just like when japanese cars really started getting respect in the early 80s. i can guarantee that ppl who disagree with me are too young to actually know i'm right. |

Car: Jap crap Rep Power: 21 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ True that and i suspect that in 10 years time korean cars will be viewed as highly as japanese cars are today. Expect the next generation of shit-boxes from countries like china and india. |
