So they'll still break while looking great

Not bad, as long as they maintain their current design and engineering people the "spirit" shouldn't be lost.

Good news images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Was kinda worried about the further existence of TVR.

Italy isen't the worst place for a car-manufacturer like TVR to be moved to.

since when does bertone produce cars?

although italy will be better than east europe, i still fear that those won't be proper TVRs anymore...
TVRs have to be built in britain, thats the death for TVR.

They've always built cars - Bertone is a coachbuilder as well as a styling house.

It's not like TVR is suddenly going to be building a million cars a year or anything - probably no more than a couple thousand a year.

Hmm, I'll wait until TVR confirm this - but if TVR's going to move anywhere, Italy's a perfect spot for the madness they create.

who owns what has the least to do with that. according to that logic you would have to check the shareholders of other car companys as well and the major ones would all be international investors.
daimler chrysler would be a kuwait company then...

it was still based in Liverpool though. So does this mean that there are no high-ish production car companies based in England anymore?
Im curious about whether the Bertone styling house is going to be allowed to try things with future TVR's.

Liverpool? Don't you mean Blackpool? That's where they actually make them. images/smilies/wink.gif

Only if the management can find enough money. Also different people/companies have shown interest, few of them were British.
