So who said we would take all the crazyness from Lambo?
Testicles.
That is all.
Seems like good news to me, even though it's only because of VW.How can a company like Lamborghini be expected to adapt to tightening emissions regulations? It's a reasonable question, and according to the company's chief executive Stephan Winkelmann, it simply can't. In an interview with Automotive News, the supercar exec justifies that its production is so limited and its vehicles are so rarely driven that its overall environmental impact is negligible. As such, Lamborghini will not be switching to downsized engines, like Ferrari has been discussing.
Winkelmann also reiterated that Lamborghini is not interested in significantly boosting production, or in developing SUVs or four-seaters. Business as usual, then, for the Raging Bull, and you know what that means: powerful, loud, exotic supercars that you can't get your hands on... and hopefully, neither will the bureaucrats.

Lol, loved the topic title. It's true though, not like the tiny amount of Lambo's sold in a year contribute that much. In say, a ford focus or toyota camry or honda accord, HELL YEA, in a LP560-4, um....not really.![]()
167Hooray for Lambo!
0Where is it copied from?
Good on Lambo sticking to tradition![]()

21Finally someone who doesn't give in to the environmentalist bullshit.
Lamborghini, I applaude you.
0Well done Lamboghini, lets hope other car makers follow thier lead, like Ferrari, etc.
127FUCK yeah!
423Well, at least there is still a smoldering ash in a dying fire called sports cars.
Course, one hot ash could reignite everything...

Link please?
299One of the reasons I love Lamborghinis over other supercars. Pure attitude; It's a raw bleeding steak on the vegetarians plate, a pimp-slap on the face of a feminist, a nuclear bomb at a CND rally. A drivable cock-and-balls that makes no apologies to anyone. Love it.
Fuck, I gotta go look at pictures of their cars for 5 minutes.![]()
Awesome news - great to see someone display common sense and logic in the environmental debate, and even better to see greenies being told, effectively, where to stick it.
Of course, the concept of Lambo showing common sense is a bit odd...
109I'm not too big on their cars, but I love their outlook.
"The death of the sports car" is like "The death of rock n' roll". Every few years the media talks about it, but I highly doubt it will ever happen.
