^ Just saw this on Autoblog.
What the hell is up with the new trend of those stupid wedges? I mean, look at the window lines behind the front door. WTF happened there? Its hideous. Especially noticeable on the white one. Also the rear looks terrible. Sounds AMAZING though. Last edited by CrazyRussian540; October 8th, 2009 at 7:48 PM. |

by that logic Toyota could slap a Supra badge onto some POS car and that'll give it more hp and peformance. Look past the badge. |

Did you guys see what kind of car the blue one was that pulled out in front of the LF-A? Interesting that a Supra Turbo would be used in testing.

1. While the Supra name is well respected, the car should be respected and appreciated for its qualities, not the badge/name put on it, esp if it bears little spiritual resemblance to previous Supras 2. Toyota/Lexus built this car to be their expensive halo car/borderline supercar. The older Supra Turbo, while very good was never really a halo/supercar. And if Toyota put a Toyota Supra label on a $90K sports car, it would be considered outrageous. People already had a problem paying $50K for a new Supra Twin Turbo before it was discontinued. Basically what i'm saying is Toyota's supercar should not be called a Supra. They should make a less power, much more affordable RWD sports car and call THAT the Supra, since that is more true to the spirit. Then the avg enthusiast would actually stomach paying $40-50K for a car to outdo Evos, Stis, 370Zs, etc, and leave the LF-A alone as Toyota's car to rival the GT-R and european supercars. Making the LF-A cheaper for regular consumers with regular jobs and paychecks, frankly, demeans the car. It's like Ferrari making a new car under $80K, affordable to regular people. It cheapens the idea. Last edited by edkwon; October 10th, 2009 at 2:41 AM. |

Wonderful, so you had to pull a 30 year old example to make your point, it would have carried more weight if Ferrari actually continued this practice today. Anyways to use your example lets put it this way.
Toyota is trying to make a version of their own Enzo (aka halo car) yet people are complaining that its not being badged as the new Dino (affordable 2 door sports car). Does that make sense to you or should ppl leave that alone and instead ask for Toyota to also release a new version of their 'Dino' (aka Supra) and leave their 'Enzo' (aka the LF-A) in the spot of the highly expensive supercar? |

I thought this would be the venture from toyota into the sportscar market. I heard something like 2011. Looks similar to the LFA and FTHS concepts (supra concept: http://www.toyota.com/concept-vehicles/fths.html)

Looks far better than I expected. Will it be as hyped-up as the GTR, however? I doubt it.

It looks like the hood comes from a different car. I like the interior though.
