Car: 1997 Yamaha Seca II, 1976 Honda CB550F Rep Power: 132    |  Lincoln MKS survey: rear-drive or AWD? Shamelessly plagarized from LeftLaneNews, I thought this was interesting. Basically Lincoln's posted an online survey asking consumers what they prefer in a luxury car, like the new MKS that's going to come out in about 2 years. They're asking a few things, like whether you want a DVD-based touchscreen nav system, adaptive headlights, what sort of interior trim, and boring crap. But they're also asking a few big questions: Rear-wheel drive or AWD? Turbo V6 or NA V8? According to them, rear-drive costs the same as front-drive (no charge), while adaptive FWD-AWD costs the same as RWD-AWD ($1,795) and full-time AWD costs the most ($1,995). Additionally, a V6 is no charge, while a V8 or a twin-turbo V6 are both $5,000 extra. Yeah, it's totally worth it. So here's the thing. Would you go for a RWD twin-turbo V6 or V8? Hell yeah, me too. So go on the survey and tell them (over and over again  ) that you want RWD and a big engine! Do it for your country!Survey here
