The wheels aren't the worst thing they can mess up, they are pretty easy changes. But IMO BMW M are some of the best at stock wheels, so i'm not that worried about that...

Thats the problem of the current 3 series... Everybody buys a 320d with everything standard... Off course it looks rubbish that way! If the better looking wheels and the lowered sport suspension would be for free everybody would have it, and that's a nono as well...
I'v just saw a 320d yesterday... images/smilies/biggrin.gif I thing this is because very small amount of people buy new cars and most of the new ones a firms property and all firms buy the most basic cars to save money. Here in my country I think. images/smilies/smile.gif

One thing I dont like about the new M3 is that they going to make a 4 door. Why? If you want a 4 door BMW M buy an M5. M3 is meant to be a smaler 2 door brother of the M5. images/smilies/smile.gif

4 door M3's are built so that you can justify it to your wife and avoid getting yet another Accord. It's a family sedan that just happens to be incredibly awesome.

My friend's father has a 4-door E36 M3. His brother (my friend's uncle) took it out for a spin with my, my friend, and two other friends. He took it up to 90 on some twisty roads, with us clamoring like children, "do it again, do it again!" That's why 4-door M3s are cool: you can impress your friends, AND take your family shopping. images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

I don't see a problem with a 4-door M3 to compete with RS4 etc. , but i think they should make the coupe more powerfull. It's like the M5/M6. If it wasen't for te design there would be absolutely no reason to buy the M6

Yeah over on Vwvortex.com, VW has been conducting surveys of US prospective buyers to see if we would rather a 2-door or 4-door R32.

^ I agree that the coupe looks better... But then its lower and wider... Well, I don't care much, I love it anyway...

Funny thing: I saw 3 M3s on various locations the last couple of days, and all were driven by women...
