My dad has an RX-8 and he just took the plates off and removed the mounting bracket. In Utah you are supposed to have a front plate but they can't pull you over for it. A cop can tack on an extra $10 to a ticket for no front plate, but alot of people don't care. I've driven this car and it has loads of grip and very little body roll, I don't know what they are talking about.

Car: 1990 Mazda MX-5 Rep Power: 74 | On our camaro's we used to put them on a Spring loaded hindge @ the bottom of the car. It cleared everything but speed bumps, so the bumps would just knock it up real quick. I've known others to use springs that only pushed the plate down at a stop, once you hit highway speeds it came back down. Confuses the shit out of cops when they pull you over. |

Car: RX-7, Jeep Cherokee Rep Power: 0 | They sell plate mounts for that, pretty popular in Japan with thier speed radar that takes pics at the front. Wouldn't do shit here tho, with ours that shoot at the rear. |
