Stylish, but sligthly boring. Somehow the front reminds me of the Peugeot 407. especially around the A-pillar

Well I actually like it apart from some details, like the front parking sensors and the weird 'fin' on the side

Looks freakin' huge! images/smilies/ohmy.gif

And wide and tall and non-sporty as well. The rear wheels are tiny in comparison to the front wheels!

I saw the CLS in silver driving by the other day. Until then i didn't think it looked that good, but seing it moving past me really chanced my view on that car. It is so much lower than it seems on the pictures, and the lines comes beautifully together.
Back to topic, i don't like that merc. has begun fitting their radar thing in the grill. It just stands out, in a bad way. They should just fit it in the bumper.

the front looks too much like a peugot and the new head light design simply sucks. don't like it at all. and what is that stupid inward bend from the middle to back. don't like tha either.
oh, and the wheels and tires look to small for the vehicle, same as the new 3 series.

So the new S-class had an incestuous affair with the CLS, and gave birth to a midget. And what's with those bolt-head-looking things in the front bumpers? Mercedes trying to be fresh and modern makes for some pretty awkward outcomes. I really preferred their old bank-vault cars more than this, stodgy as they were, because they were at least honest.

ARRRGG I hate it when people say that! As its been for years, car manufactures of all nations aspire for the "Euro" design so if anything, they are making their cars look German. Mercedes is maintaining their own generic look.

Yeah I know the S-Class looks radically diffrent Benz-wise, but its all based on the basic Benz look. They are just going through a change.

Benz and all the other Euro manufactures can't help it if their design is looking less Euro simply because all the Japanese/Korean make their cars look similar.
