| want it definately decided to try pick up a focus ST-2 for my next car when i graduate and get a job. with the move to engine downsizing and rising fuel cost, i figure i should get in on the hot hatch stuff before it becomes too much to afford. this looks ace, just needs one less exhaust. it just just have one big fat one, like the WRC car. and im not so sure about the mock diffuser either. | |

given how capable the ford boys are when it comes to handling and dynamics im not too worried about this being FWD only. they definately know what theyre doing and i think they got what it takes to make FWD work. if it works, then we'll get a cheaper, lighter, possibly faster car that gets a little better mileage and handles very nicely.

![]() I think that looks pretty good, but it would be better in the old RS blue. It'll look good as a rally car anyway, that's for sure. And I prefer it with two exhausts to one fat stupid one.

Car: (as soon as I get my license) 2001 Focus 1.8D Rep Power: 30 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, no, no, only the 6 MPS is 4WD. The 3 is FWD and suffers from lack of steering feel because of the attempts to cure torque-steer with 260bhp on the front axle.

| Is it really that bad? I mean, nearly every touring car league I can think of is dominated by FWD cars.

DTM For racing - RWD > FWD. The only reason some championships are dominated by FWD cars is due to the regulations, not any inherent racing benefits offered by the layout.
