Four door, short bed trucks are very popular down here, and from what I have seen near the Panama or Nicaragua borders, popular there too.
This isn't a gigantic pick-up, it's small-ish.
Things like the Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, Toyota Hilux, Mazda BT-50, Nissan Frontier and such are hugely popular here, and you can spec them from single cab 2wd "low" version, to full leather, AWD, four door, etc.
Part of that popularity comes from true 4x4 capability, and the ability to throw some junk in the back.
