Fantastic looking car! I want one badly! Although I'm still not sure about that huge grille. It looks great from a 3/4 view, but head-on it looks a little goofy. I'm really impressed what they've done with the interior.

Plastic aluminium trim as standard? Impressive.
![]() I don't like what they've done with the front of it, the grille is just too big. However, I do like what they've done with the rest of it, even yes jetsetter, the interior isn't bad.

From other reports, that's actual aluminum trim, not plastic.

The rims suck.
Other than that, this might be the first American car that I don't think is complete crap. |

Aside from the grille, I'd agree, doesn't look too bad.
At least the wheels aren't shiny chrome, I hate it when they do that. Those look better than chrome wheels. I wonder if it'll be sold here, there have been rumours of Cadillac returning to Australia. Just need a RHD version, I spose. |

Hmm, not that impressed with the interior to be honest. Isn't this car supposed to be competing with BMW 5 series?
Outside the car looks good

I like it alot, i can see some issues with the plastic on the horn of the steering wheel, the ash try breaking the lines on the center dash, and the gear shifter looking a bit cheap. But over all good, and its good when you have to nit pick on a GM car to find problems, as, truth be told usually they are huge problems. Also the seats dont look comfy i must say. At lest the bottom part that is.
As for the comment about it taking on the 5 Series, that is not much of a car to benchmark to. Its interior is love it or hate it, and does feel cheap also. This looks bold, but not shocking. Kind of E Class like i have to say, but better.

The interior is awash in metalicized plastic that will look terrible in a very short period of time. I would rather see less shiny but more durable materials being used. My parent's Volvo S80 has none of that and manages to have a sleek, modern interior - one that will last longer and look better out in the real world. That metalicized plastic will only look good on the showroom floor.

I've seen one at the auto show and two in real life, they look pretty decent but actually kind of bland when you can't see the front end. I mistook the CTS to be an STS because they now look pretty similar. I'm not sold on the styling, but at least Cadillac is putting in an honest effort.

I don't know if they'd bother to launch it here, not enough difference between it and the Calais
