^ I'm that case, how about a Galactica-style gritty reboot. Old Galactica was ultra cheesy as it gets and they turned it into something gritty and intelligent.

The original 80's was good for other reasons and not just KITT.

For instance at the end of one episode i remember vividly, Michael had saved the day and he was talking to the guy he saved, on a 100 degree beach with everyone wearing tight ass shorts, and the hoff is wearing tight jeans and a leather jacket... and of course aviators.

That is what makes KR a TV show to remember, its complete terribleness is what made it good.

P.S. How long till we see the 473rd 'special' edition 'Stang? images/smilies/lol.gif

This just keeps getting worse. Jalopnik is reporting that the cars may not even be real Shelby KRs but instead pedestrian Mustang GTs with automatics (becasue the actors can't drive stick) dressed up to look like KRs. images/smilies/think.gif

I really don't understand how someone could agree to let this happen. I know the money involved it probably substantial, but I still just can't understand it.

No that is better...so more people can have KR rather than a crappy movie studio.

Oh, so it's a TV movie. This IS going to be underwhelming.
