Both of them look really good. Subaru is working hard to make more refined cars and it really shows.

I dont know... Definitly looks good but its more of a suv now, before the forester was like a really good cross-over vehicle. Now tho it doesnt look the same as before.

^^exactly what I was thinking.
I think I prefer the old Forester to be honest. The new model seems to have lost its Impreza-ness. |

Second one's nice - though maybe they've lowered it a tad too much. I like the Forester - it's not like other over-tall, over-weight lumbering SUV's, more like an Impreza with some extra practicality thrown in, so a tarmac-only sports version appeals.

I love the second one. but i just wish they would bring the Forester STi over to America and be done with it instead of realeasing this sport model.

I just love the Forester and it's four wheel drive system. It seriously drives like a car but with better practicality and handling. If I had the extra, Id buy a Legacy with the flat six engine.

The second Forester was built by ESX Motorsports. They are a drag racing team/tuner here in the states.

^ Not drag tyres - they look like semi-slick / grooved slick road-legal tyres.

^ Didn't know drag tyres came with tread like that, so there's my new thing learnt for today
![]() But my guess is still that the Forester is running non-drag semi-slick rubber - they've got a full, shallow tread pattern akin to that sort of tyre.
