You have got to be kidding me?! THATS THE TOP! BWahahahaha, I would love to see a Bugatti owner do that on the hard shoulder of a motorway when it starts raining...

Its a freakin umbrella! What if the owner decides to do reach the 5-million MPH top speed of this thing and it flies off!

Still - I love it images/smilies/mrgreen.gif The novelty of being able to go ridiculously fast in an open top car like that is so awesomly awesome.

BTW - what was with that crazy music, lol

I don't get the point of the umbrella. Are you suppose to take it with you letting the car's interior get wet?

Besides that confusion I do like this car. However I fear the Veyron will soon compete with the Mustang in the "let's make one million slightly different cars" championship.

It's an awesome idea. I mean, who has ever thought of using the removable soft top as an umbrella?

that is just an emergency umbrella IMO. In the original picture there is a glass targe top.. Although I wonder whether you would feel the heat coming from the engine when sitting in traffic with the top down, I mean there isn't any engine cover..

here's the deal.

'oh no, its raining, i'm going to get wet. but i can TAKE THE ROOF OFF MY BUGATTI IN THE RAIN just so i can nip off to the shops to buy bread. and i'll be dry'

i think they've missed the point. the only time that would be useful is when its wet, and thats the only time you want the roof on your car.

No, no, no... I think you guys are misinterpreting it. I just looks like an umbrella, you're not actually supossed to carry it around keeping you dry... it's more of an umbrella for the car.

thats Retarded images/smilies/bangin.gif whats the point of that ? im sure the top will blow off anything passed 120 and with the top down there will probably be so much wind turbulence to drive much faster then that. might aswell give it a ecobox 4

As people have already pointed out, the umbrella isn't the actual roof.

Agreed, since there is no place to put the real targa this is more than likely for a "oh shit I should have looked at the weather report before leaving" situation where you are already out miles away from your with the top off when it starts raining. Kind of like run flat tires, you aren't suppose to drive on them for 1,000's of miles as fast as you can after they blow you just drive on them at a slow rate and go strait to get the problem fixed.
