Did Bugatti confirm top speed? Or shall i shoot myself in the face?

Pur Sang, Hermes, Sang Noir) which aren't included in the original count of 300 Veyrons being constructed. I'm surprise Volkswagen isn't broke yet.

What happened to keeping this car exclusive? I doubt I'll ever see a Veyron pass by me on the highway, but I thought the whole intention of this car was to re-invigorate the Bugatti name as an exclusive luxury brand. All these special editions just reminds me of all of Ford's limited production/edition Mustangs. Granted Volkswagen/Bugatti isn't making money like Ford does with its Mustangs and they are losing millions per vehicle, but that's even more reason not to make so many Veyrons from a financial standpoint. I feel that producing these limited-run vehicles just cheapens the make and the car itself. In terms of exclusivity, Ferrari and Lamborghini just do a far better job.

Sorry for the wall of text. These always come to mind every time I see another version of the Veyron.
These special versions are being made out of the Veyrons that have not yet been sold. I think the total will still be around 300 or 400, I don't think they're actually selling any more than they originally planned.
