Default Anyone playing Tourist Trophy?

Tourist Trophy is a motorcycle racing game. This game is made by the creators of GT series, it uses the GT4 engine (so it has most of the GT4 tracks, even the Nurbergring). I just got the Japanese version today. The game play is pretty fun, you can actually fall off the bike and you can learn forward etc. But I haven't found a way to modify the bikes, so if there's no way to modify them then the game will get boring quick. But so far so good. (I only got the Novice license and did a few races)

And I hate rochetta. Why do they have to ruin every good sandwich with it ?

Carsightings, If you _have_ to make such a statement you should at least give an explonation. As far as I'm concerned that's just a spam post.

If it's a GT-type game, can you have accidents (high-sides, the front lets go)? Do you actually fall off your bike?

Yes, you can actually fall off the bike. I just played a little bit today, I haven't unlock that many bike yet, so I don't know if the Suzuki GSX-R750 is in the game or not.

I have played this game and it's great images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
There is GSX-R750 -05. Too bad there isn't older bikes, like mine -96 R750 images/smilies/rolleyes.gif But anyway, it's a great game and I recommend it to all bike fans.

I played it a while ago and I think it´s got great potential. The only thing I found lacking was the possibility of tuning. All you can do is put a sports exhaust, but the realism and feel of the bike (specially when played from "inside of the pilot" are very good. On a side note, this game has what I found is a lacking in the GT series: every bike has its actual dashboard when played from inside view. You can adjust riding style, rider height, setup the whole bike, do drift, burnouts, wheelies, endos, pretty much anything.
It has a few minor glitches (some bikes simply WON´T WHEELIE) but for the first of a series, it´s already light years ahead of any other bike game I´ve played.
That said, I´m drooling for an European copy. I played a japanese copy and couldn´t figure out most of the game... images/smilies/lol.gif

I don't think the lack of tuning is a big deal, if you get 160 or 180 horspower from a gsx-r 1000 does not make that big a difference. The game would become to technical and complicated if you were to have the same options as in GT4

im not too into bike games, Moto GP is the only bike game that i thought was decent. BUT this looks hella good, i just may buy it.... though without tuning im not sure how long it could keep me engaged. without tuning i would've stopped playing GT ages ago.

Point taken. I agree, I wanna play it.

I disagree. You WILL get engaged by the possibilities. Riding fast in TT is more envolving and harder than driving fast in GT4 with all the rider adjustments, separate brakes and weight shifting.

Sadly, it is true... images/smilies/sad.gif
At least it has the Nurburgring, and all the other tracks from GT4.
Altough, for some strange reason Tsukuba is little different. Just one corner to be exact.
