| I got it one day after launch. I don't usually play too much online but this game is a good exception. it kicks ass!! Although its singleplayer campaign is VERY short the multiplayer is just great! ![]() But I've got the PS3 version so I think it will be pretty difficult we meet online! ![]()

| I've enjoyed the demo as well! My one major criticism though is the amount of bullets it takes to kill someone! Coming from CoD4, I expect my opponents to die when I squeeze a single three-round burst with the M16 on them! Though usable vehicles and destructible environments are the nice touch, what I love most about the game is the absence of a "kill cam" like the one found in CoD4. You can now actually stay hidden from your enemies after killing them (especially if you're a sniper). | |

Car: Does a bicycle count? Rep Power: 40 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | walk>gun>drive repeat The game is repetitive. While that can bee a good thing, it isn't here. What makes it so bad is the fact that At no point you feel being rewarded by the game. Finished off the entire base alone? Well, there's the next one. Kill everyone there. That style of gameplay is featuread ad nauseum. At no pint did I feel I acomplished something. It was one giant unrewarding chase that doesn't even feature good AI. It's a generic shooter without any redeeming features. In a sense it's battlefield only it feels like you're on a 64 server playing against bots. A game to forget. Now Multiplayer is another thing. I can't comment on that. However since they pitched it for the SP I think my observations are only fair. Last edited by swek; July 4th, 2008 at 07:58 PM. |

I also thought FPS's sucked on consoles when I first played one (which was Goldeneye, later a superb game). But then you get used to them. And for multi player it's also good because everyone has to play with the controller. This way nobody gets to be a keyboard+mouse God who never gives you the chance to even play for 5 miserable minutes because he/she keeps headshooting you all the time.

| Wants Rick Astley's Babies | I rather like the Single Player. Mostly because of your mates comments ![]() Still I feel like aiming is too hard and not intuitive. Also Swek has a point. Only just gone rouge and been discovered before entering the ship. I soo was looking forward for huge loot...

Rep Power: 224 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, I tried the demo and I found the only way to actually hit anything was to just spray bullets and hoped you hit something. I don't mind games like GTA4 since that has a lock on and is still fairly easy to aim even with auto-aim off, but Bad Company was just... I dunno. It would been much better as a PC game IMO.

thats especially a PITA because you gotta take the scope off to reload and then the person moves to cover. so most of the time being a sniper is crap. i am content with just being an Assault/spec ops/support guy and just running in shooting and blowing stuff up....its awesome

I've played BF: Bad Company on a friend's 360. AWESOME game. Can't wait for it to come out on PC. Until then, I'll just have to keep myself occupied with BF2, COD4 and occasional trips to my friend's place to play BF:BC on his xbox. Everything I've seen has said it's coming out for PC and PSP sometime, but there hasn't been a definite date added to it. Battlefield: Heroes should be out "sometime this summer" too. Can't beat free, either.

| Does it have the same crappy bullet spread that BF2 had?

Battlefield 2 is getting old for me. It's not even the gameplay, either. It's the unreliable connections, ridiculously long load time (both for the game itself and actually getting into a server), the fact that half of my points and awards never seem to actually register on my account... For shame, EA. Guess I'm stuck with COD4 for now if I want a multiplayer PC war game that isn't likely to drop me from the server as the match is ending (and the 45 minute load times that follow).

| Yeah, I played BF2 daily from the time it came out for about 2 years straight. I got so sick of it that I'd rather get poked in the eye with a sharp stick than play BF2.

| I still enjoy the game itself. I'm just sick of the pain in the ass it is to actually get the game started and continue playing after a round is over. It's not like I'm on a slow, antiquated computer...

| The vehicles in BF2 are fun, but the infantry combat is terrible compared to other games. The weapon accuracy is downright awful. Try firing at a wall once and see how badly the bullets spread.

every gun might as well be a sniper machine gun and it takes about 10 shots to kill someone less u get a head shot, but even thats not a guarantee
