Sad thing is it may be a 3rd person shooter, the developers have said they will change that if people complain enough in the beta, but then the developers are also jerking themselves off because supposedly they created a crazy amazing 3rd person aspect that somehow doesn't suck donky balls.

Personally i rather fear 3rd person, something about playing too much GTA3 has almost permanently turned me off to it, I'm hoping the game will just have that certain something I'm looking for that alone can kill my preconceptions towards 3rd person shooters, who knows.

I'm just happy its a game that could care less about realism, the whole fun of battlefield was wing surfing a spitfire, parachuting onto a panzer, annoying the fuck out of the panzer driver by screaming and shooting down his hull, finishing him with exlposives just as two idiotic engineers put themselves inline with the massive dynomite explosion, then getting nearly esploded to death by a noob in mobile artilary while knifing a medic in the back and healing yourself to do it all again. And that was just the routine of one character class! People who didn't get 1942 had to be offcenter, i just can't explain how someone couldn't enjoy all that unless they had some form of retardation.

That alone explains why I still play this game and am generally in like top 25 in world when I do. Its just so much fun ... *tears*

hell yea!! - me in an apache = me shooting down fighter jets. Not the other way around - mind you, the other half of the reason I play so often is because i constantly get abuse for being a 'hacker' and i'm frequently getting vote kicked. not my fault they're all nubs. :p
