Default Brazil.

Anyone ever see the movie? I saw it last Saturday. Every time I think of it I get ill. And its not a gory horror flick, either.

BTW, not a new movie, either. Made in 1985.

Sounds interesting - would you recommend it?

A huge "state" presence is a nightmare of mine, but I like teckmology.

I've seen it and can't really come up with an opinion. Was it good or bad ?...I don't know. It surely was different.

Oh, it scared the shit out of me, and technology is...just weird. Like if the 1950's had computers.

Would I reccomend it? If you have read the book "1984" and are prepared for a TOTAL MINDFUCK, then yes, see it. After I saw it, I got up to smoke, went outside, my legs were shaking and I wanted to throw up. Drove home and watched "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" to counteraffect it.

I watched it many years ago, when I was probably 12 years old....I need to watch it again.

It's been a while since I watched it. Apparently there are two versions of it though, the Director's Cut being the much better version.

It's pretty hard to track down in Australia though.

That's cool, thanks for that! It doesn't tell you which version of film it is though, would have to ask.

Another Aussie online store, looks like the same cover - doesn't look like a Special edition though. Maybe the special edition hasn't been released in Australia? images/smilies/dunno.gif

I should also point out ezydvd isn't just an online store, they have shops around the country. images/smilies/wink.gif

That first link doesn't really make it sound interesting.

LOL, yes that is kind of misleading.

It really is quite a good film....but you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it.

No it is not "quite a good film" it is a great film. It is like nothing you have seen, and you have to concentrate hard to get all the ins and outs of the plot. Highly recommended IMHO - Mr Tuttle. ...
