I rarely used it, since I pirated episode 1+2...
Still: Turned out my account was hacked. The guy even befriended some people with my accout as it turned out, as I was wondering who kept trying to chat me up... He only played CSS with it.

But: Steam support = pretty great.
Did the send in a pic of your cd key next to the support ticket thing and pretty soon I got back into my account!

Looks like it, and guys who have the solid disks have been reporting issues with the 2nd CD. I'm waiting for the scene to get to the bottom of this.

^ Guys who have the proper discs get an invalid key error...

I really hope my copy ships in time, I have a free afternoon on Tuesday... Lots of people in Germany have theirs already, but I don't care, the earliest I have time for it is Tuesday 2 pm, maybe 4 pm if I hit the Gym. I hope the supposedly huge waits for activation have passed by then and I can quickly start to play...

Tons of people will have ordered the PC version. They just stay out of threads like this because all the bickering about nodedi9v9maxsteamgarblewuha drives them crazy...
As I said before, I have never been in a Clan, never played a game on a certain dedicated server more than once. I like the 9v9 thing because it means smaller maps which is better for the small Lans we have...
While I don't really like the idea of the nuke, among my n00b friends I'm pretty much the only one who will ever get that, so it should be ok...

Hopefully GameFly ships my Xbox version tomorrow. Will probably get here Thursday. I'm excited! I played COD4 almost every night for about 6 months.

Shitfuck, the webshop I bought my UK version from hasn't shipped it yet, but will do so very soon. Still, this most likely means no MW2 tomorrow...

normally i'd have done the same with pre-ordering online. however due to the recent actions of the Royal Mail i had figured it'd be best to play it safe and pre-ordered it at my local Game store. Just to play it safe and knowing that i'd at least be able to play on launch day.

As you may be aware, our very own PST*Joker has made assertions on BASH that the MP AC130 and several other MW2 features were influenced (without any recognition) by him and other PC modders.

A few hours ago, I saw a Tweet go out from a community member suggesting that Joker issue a takedown notice of Infinity Ward's AC130 vid on Youtube.

"@pstjoker I just thought you should send youtube a DMCA take down notice regarding the #MW2 AC130 video. See how youtube responds." (@therealrudedog)

I think Joker took up the idea and I can only assume he's more surprised than anyone that a few minutes ago YouTube yanked IW's AC130 video right off their official channel.

I've mentioned before that MW2 has been like a marriage breakup between PC gamers and IW. Now, this has all the earmarks of a messy divorce.

By the way, I certainly don't envy Fourzerotwo in any of this -- as if he doesn't have enough on his hands. All of this seems very unfortunate all the way round.

Just a few minutes ago I spoke to PST*Joker and apparently he did make the takedown claim and YouTube did take down the original official video from their IW channel. Joker forwarded this reply from IW's community manager:

Lots of backlash about Iwnet a few hours in give us our dedicated servers back is all we ask..

IW's forum's PC section is up in arms with people posting reports on IWNET's suckage. Didn't see that one coming....

I'm hoping the PC version gets reviewed separately from the console versions, let the real issues come to light.
