More and more they keep wrecking perfectly good game series. SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals, Red Alert 2, Need for Speed: Underground 2, Grand Turismo 3, and even Grand Theft Auto 3 I believe were the last good games. Not saying I don't love the new Grand Theft Auto with its shooting from cars, or the always usefull phone (GTA:VC jumping out of moving cars), and the same goes with GT and its amazing good graphics.

I think this holds true with the Red Alert series. I would love to have Ra and Ra2 back. I liked Ra2 due to the good graphics (I think thats the best you can prolly get for a RTS without getting crappy angles of the battlefield) and the amazingly useful queing of units. I think this new one will be like Yuri's Revenge but far worse. If you want really unrealistic/future like game play I think C&C is better for that, which it always was up till' now.

Problem with Red Alert is that the Soviets always had it better. In Red Alert 2 I think its very equal; Soviets rush and Allieds have tech, which is taken too far in Yuir's Revenge.

And I know a few of you still play Red Alert 2, show yourself!

Ahahahah, try that against me.

I think that's the problem with the new Command & Conquer games. Its nothing like the Tiberian Dawn; You had little to no cash, and could only make a few units (or a ton of infantry).

I want to play that again. Also I loved and mostly hated (but miss) how you could shoot down the transport plane.

"...Commanders also admit that the apocalypse requires anti-air support."

What the fuck?!?! The apoc has always had an AA gun onboard, that makes its useless now.... like I use it anymore though? This I think already proves the game is not what it should be.

I think this proves the old adage is still not used enough in games: If its not broke, don't fix it.

Went into GAME on the 27th, then found out it's not released here 'til the 14th Nov. I'll buy it anyway, but I do agree they should have at least tried to keep a sense of realism in RA. C&C is for future-tech, RA is for good, old-fashioned war. I'd love to see Generals on the Xbox, I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

*Cough*This "acquiring" process is really slow. Its not small*Cough*
I have this cough from yesturday. Don't know why ;p
Cant wait though!! :

I played RA2 when I was very small. Small enough that I didn't understand the plot or anything and just made tons of troops and firepower and went to battle.
I can remember my cousins used to play the game over LAN. I still remember those battles.
But I guess this time I may do better.

One of the things you can do is put almost any building in the water (including defensive buildings). So my friend started placing like tesla towers all around his naval yard
