I used a PS3 for a few days and own a 360.

The 360 is far better.

I've got both and to be honest the only thing about the PS3 that I don't think is better than the 360 is the controller. I like the feel of the 360 by far better, it just fits comfortably in my hand much better and the layout of the buttons and control sticks is much more useful to me. I especially like the triggers on the 360 controller and the placement of the left side stick in an easier to get to location, the lower placement of the stick on the PS3 controller is a little out of way for my thumb.

I much prefer the PS3 controller! images/smilies/biggrin.gif The 360 controllers are too oddly layed out and I hate the D-Pad!

I own a PS3. But I like the 360 controller more.

I also like the original XBox controller, far more than the PS2 controller.

My first racer was Mario Kart (SNES); I guess I'm a bit biased.

Also using the stick to steer on the portable GTA games is a truly horrible experience. I'd much rather use the D-pad.

I always used the D pad too, up until GTA San Andreas. images/smilies/mad.gif

But since then I've become use to the joystick steering.

I prefer the Playstation Controller. But I've never owned an XBox, so my only experience with it is the few times I've played one at friends/families houses, or at Best Buy. images/smilies/lol.gif It just feels awkward having the control sticks in different spots, might as well put it under the controller.

I miss the old X-Box "Cadillac Controller." Remember the big one that came with the early X-Boxes? Those things rocked, the first controller that actually fits my hands. When I heard they were being discontinued I ran out and bought 3 more.

I prefer the X360 controller. The PS3 controller is just too small for me.

Xbox has the sticks in the right place. Playstation has basically everything else better.

Gamecube had the best design of last generation, even though it was significantly smaller.

I prefer the PS3's controller, the Xbox's feels too big and clunky for me, though I did lick the triggers on the back, but since the SIXAXIS and DUALSHOCK3 now have them I'm perfectly happy with the PS3 controller.

Also, nintendo's controllers always looked slightly ugly to me, dunno why.

Nintendo never designed their controllers to look good; they always designed for function.

I've always hated Nintendo in general. Their controllers were functional though, and actually the N64 controller was quite good, but only because it was bonkers. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I found the Gamecube controller way too bad. At least Sony and M$ know how to make controllers. The shoulder buttons are horrible, the analogue sticks are different (?) and the buttons are all in weird places. I mean who thought up the positioning of the Z button? And they all weren't nice to press. Sony and M$ have a fight over who's is the best and it all comes down to some ergonomics, whereas Nintendo forgot how to make a button...

as I've always said, the PS1/2/3 controller is the most ergonomic/easy to use/just the right amount of buttons controller ever made. And the 360 controller is a giant, fat, heavy, ugly POS
