I really hope at some point they get the chance to cast one of the Firefly stars in a guest role. Either Alan Tudyk or Adam Baldwin, then the nerd in me really will squeal like a teenage girl at one of those twilight films.

Just started watching the series, I think it's quite good. The style mixture is uncommon, to say the least, but it works. And I love the soundtrack, maybe even most of all - it's amazing.

i also started watching it when i posted the first post in this thread. one thing that striked me as odd was that sometimes, when it shows the ship going somewhere in space, theres no music or anything. just seems a bit odd.

Yes, I really liked how that they portrayed space. Watching Star Trek and Star Wars you get the feeling that there's a star system around every corner and that space isn't all that dangerous. By making it quite empty and soundless space in Firefly became more dangerous (if your engines fail nobody's coming to get you...) and also more realistic.

Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk are in the series "V", although Alan's character seems to have died in the series opener.

Great Show. Damn good movie. But as usual, Fox fucked it up. The original airing was of the second episode, the 2 hour long premier didn't air until December(?) and was the last episode shown. So Fox didn't know what to do with the show from the start and they continued to make it worse as the season continued. There are a couple of fan made movies on the way, I will dig up some links later.

I reccomend the BluRay, the regular DVDs are encoded too dark to see all the detail.

The official one is a browncoat, but if it's a coat in brown colour, it's a brown coat.

In the series preview at the end of the episode they showed him alive again, so he'll be back at some point.
