Free and legal FarCry, Rayman, Sands of Time!!!

Hey.
Don't you just hate paying for games?

You don't have to for FarCry, Rayman Raving Rabids and Prince in Persia: Sands of time.

Those Ubisoft games can be had for free at http://www.fileplanet.com/free_games.shtml
They are ad supported to some extent that I currently don't know yet, because the public servers are swamped and you have to wait in line.

I'm gonna go for Rayman, since its supposedly funny, and I think I played the other 2...

As long as you have a free fileplanet id you can just click on the game, then click on the big red "download file now" and then choose one of the "free public servers". A window pops up that you are waiting in line. Once thats done it will start.

Clear enough for you???

Hmm, really weird... I didn't get that.

If you use an ad filter/blocker, try disabling that. It has blocked something vital on their page for me before... Sory about trying to school you before images/smilies/wink.gif

You were right, the ad filter filtered out the free public server and some other buttons. I'm waiting in line for the dl now. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Prince of Persia is a great game, unless you don't like the time shift business like some of my friends.

Looks like I finally get to see what all the fuss was about with Farcry. Of course, that is after I finish Splinter Cell Double Agent, C&C3, FEAR Extraction Point, and the other games I still haven't found time to play...

Tried installing FarCry, it installed successfully. But when I tried to play it it always crashed at the loading screen. I guess this version is not compatible with my hardware. I wonder if the pay version will work better, I'm going to give that a try.

Don't get rayman. It's just a bunch of mini games. I played it for a few hours and i never turned into a platformer. What a disappointment...

Just aquired the regular "patched" version of FarCry, it seems to run fine on my comp. So I guess I'm missing some kind of security thing for this ad-supported version (maybe some HDCP stuff).
