Now this game I WANT! I the Burnout series soo much!! You gotta hand it to Criterion Games. After Burnout 2, i thought it couldnt get much better.But in Burnout 3, it was atleast 50% better. Now seriously though, they wont be able to do much better in this new one thats due for 13th September on PS2.If they do though...GREAT GREAT GREAT!

It will also be available on XBOX and ALSO XBOX 360..

I never understood the point of the Burnout games - but then I played it, my god, just a stupid amount of fun and action. Bring it on!

Read a test about it in a Mag where they give grade and 1,0 is the best and 6,0 the worst...

I burnout so much, I played the demo on Xbox and I'm definitely going to get this version.

Just like LA Rush, the a playable demo of this is on the latest Playstation Magazine disc. I haven't had a chance to play this one yet, but my sister says it's fun and a lot better than LA Rush.

That is unless you know how to use torrents (and have a chipped PS2). I'm enjoying both Burnout: Revenge for PS2 and Burnout: Legends for PSP at the moment....both before their release date.

Damnit, Its so difficult for me, especially since I want to wait until it comes out for the xbox360, even though that won't be until 2006 . The game better rock for that added 4 months of additional work.

It is real good. Some differences to Burnout 3.
The Crash junctions don't have pick-ups this time. Instead a Crashbreaker bar fills up and then you blow up as the carnage ensues.
There is another type of race where you have to smash traffic and cause chain reactions before time runs out.
The race AI is better, harder.
The whole game is presented in a darker environment.

Stop it your killing me I realised I kinda dont have much money for the game so I might wait til its available for rent (2-weeks!!).

So how is that new feature in the game....the one where you can crash into traffic and use them as a mean of takeing-down your opponents?

Its really different if you have played the other games. My bro and I played, and he was playing it for a few hours before I got home, he kept on winning, I eventually realized that you can hit the traffic going the same direction you are going, I was used to dodging them. Its really fun once you get used to it, just WHAM and the car goes flying. To do takedowns on the oppenents, its really fun to hit a traffic car right into them. Its a neat feature, I enjoy it a lot.
The tracks are a lot of fun too, they are large with many many shortcuts here and there, its a lot of fun.

I know this thread is long dead - but I just picked up the game used and I love it. It's graphics are so wonderfully vivid and the physics be damned fun is fantastic. Its more about crashing than driving, so I wouldn't recomend it for anyone who gives a damn about realism.

Anyway - I was really impressed by the cars. They are just amalgamations based on bits, details and shapes of other cars. Still the designs are wonderful. They stir me more than many concepts on the horizon. I even prefer the styling to some of the cars the details are lifted from. I really wish someone had built these.
