congrats! My G25's reverse gear started acting up, sent it to Logitech (awesome customer service btw) and waiting for my replacement. I'm falling off the ranking board

I'm having some problems with the on-line features of the game. It seems they just don't work. It loads something for a long time and then a signal of Caution appears and cancels de loading. :S

Anyway, the game is freaking awesome!!!

It can take some approaches until the game updates properly. In the end, it was meant to be japanese-only, so any connections from outside of Japan may be unstable.

What can I say about the game so far???? Brilliant!!!

And what's best. It's harder than before. I've been trying to complete the "Suzuki Swift Sport" event (the one from the dealer shop) and it's really challenging. The I.A has improved much much more. You can see some cars late-breaking, and overtaking into some spots of the track they never did before in the other GT's.

Overall then... I give it a 10:

And it's just the prologue, I just can't imagine how is the proper game going to be!

Do you guys who have the prologue read Japanese? if not how are you going through the game?

nope, if you are familiar with previous GTs (GT:HD etc), Prologue's menu is fairly simple to figure out.

I took Japanese in High School and do alot of studying on my own. The main menus are in english and the mission'll have GTR or R8 or something written in there in english so you know what car to use.

...but yea, i read enough japanese its no prob

It would be nice to be able to understand what they are asking of you in the missions though. I'd love to see the "story" behind them.

I'd also love to be able to read the manual and figure out how to turn off the HUD. They designed a brilliant game with the best in-cockpit view ever, but all those on-screen distractions ruin it (not totally, but they are useless if you already know the track).

I saw copy's of GT Prologue today on the shelves of EB games in the comming soon. Didn't say when though

I suspect the $75 dollar mark, that's about what the other ones cost from memory

My replacement G25 came from Logitech today, it only took a week but it felt like an eternity. Finally saved up enough for the 599, man that thing is a beast

The only thing I wish that Polyphony would do to improve the game is include racing camera angles for replays (by that I mean the types of cameras they use for Formula 1 and other televised racing). For me, that would improve the realism of the game enormously, because as it is, when I watch the replays the stupid flying and ridiculously-placed cameras prevent that.

Not saying that I don't love the games though.

Wow! That's all I can think of about that.

I have a question: What car does everyone use to beat the A-level races? Those are intimidating me: Gain 11 places in 5 laps of London. No matter what I do I can't find a car monsterous enough to get up there. (Or maybe it's just a lack of skill on my part)

Well in fact I'm also having quite a trouble trying to beat the A-level races. But I think it's because I'm so used to driving the R34 GTR, which it's too slow for that level, that it takes me some time to get me used to a new car. I need to get the feel of it and probably will be able to beat it.

But it's true that the game seems much more difficult than before.

BTW do you guys who have the jap game like me, have jaggies arround the edges of the cars? All the pics and videos shown of the game don't have them but I do.
