Oh wow, Thats alot more then the $40 for the US release.
I think everything should be based around one price, so since the game came out in Japan at about: 4500 yen, 40 USD is fair. For Australia it should be around 40-45 AUD. England: 20 pounds. Rest of Europe: 25-30 Euros.

GT5 Prologue is like a very large demo, which you pay for. It isn't anywhere near the full game (size wise - performance/graphics wise it is). It is the same game, just not the same amount of it. images/smilies/wacko.gif

GT4 had one. I didn't get it, but you were able to bring in license details into the full game.

Only for clarification: there are some flaws in GT5 Prologue which are very likely to be fixed in the full GT5. So playing Prologue may give you a different experience than GT5 will.

It was the same for GT4 and GT4 Prologue. The reason is that Prologue is not a simple demo taken out of a finished game. Prologue rather is a pre of the full game, taken out of a product still in heavy development.

I haven't followed any video game news in the longest time so, that being said. Have they even mentioned some sort of tentative release date for GT5? I think I would buy a PS3 simply for that game.

Knowing the developers of Gran Turismo well, it is highly likely that GT5 will be released later though. They always need more time...
