The actual game shots on that link don't look that impressive at all.

I don't know if you've played the demos, but from comparing those images to the demo, the demo does have a much sharper, clearer look.

I am sure the game actually looks better then those images make it seem to.

Edit: Those images actually look worse then GT:HD

I have had the Japanese Prologue since release, the in-game visuals is very impressive, especially real-time reflection on everything.

I'm not very familiar with computer monitors, but as far as I understand, newer Dell monitors supports 16:9 (instead of 16:10 for PCs) so your image won't look stretched.

There are many small visual tweaks on the Japanese Prologue when compared to the demo, and as a whole it looks much improved, here's my impression earlier in this thread.

Despite the quite severe JPEG compression which makes them kinda rough and blurry, the game, at least the japanese Prologue, actually looks better in real life than it does in these shots.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!
I was worried the split screen would be like GT4s, where it is split vertically.

I actually liked the vertical split, but then again, I didn't play much splitscreen. The idea to vertically split the image on a widescreen tv had some logic though...

There were some major problems I had with vertical splitting when playing on my Widescreen TV. I think the real problem was, that the game was ment to be for Fullscreen and the spli screen didn't scale to well with Widescreen.

Sorry ... what? images/smilies/wacko.gif

All I know is that when you set the game to 4:3, it did the classic horizontal split, and when you set it to 16:9, it performed the vertical split, which is kind of clever, as you have more width than with a 4:3 tv.
