Just a quick question, does GT5P still have the Spec B mode? That was a great way to make money in GT4, I hope they kept it.

There will be no B-Spec in GT5 Prologue. That doesn't mean that there will be no B-Spec in GT5 though. As Prologue is the current state of what they already have of GT5, there still are features missing. That's why there might be things - like B-Spec - which were in GT4, will not be in GT5 Prologue, but might be back in GT5.

When it comes to damage, a lot of people refer to Forza. Anyway, the producers of GT always said that the moment they implement damage, they want it to be true to life. In Forza you do have damage. But when you run head on into a wall at 180 mph, there should be more than a huge dent and some broken glass, don't you think? So I think that where we're getting at, Polyphony will model the structures of cars as they actually are, and give us something like a simplified crash simulation. And that will be awesome...

I am talking about actual car damage. If you do that in Forza you car will be toast. You will not be going anywhere. That is what I am talking about...bc in Prologue demo I kept getting the bloody AI running into me everywhere, which would total both of our cars...but no...

In Japanese Prologue the only body contact I've had with AIs are little bumps and scrapes from attacking into corners, nothing more than "trading paint."

If you race like how you're suppose to race, damage (or lack of damage) almost becomes an no-issue. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have some realistic damage in GT, but whats the big deal when it doesn't interfere into the racing aspect of the game? I've had plenty of experience with FM2 at my buddy's, damage doesn't help much in terms of enforcing racing rules when the AI taps your rear end spinning you out on the last corner of a race.
