What do you guys think of the GTR2 demo? i didnt like gtr at all but the sequal feels much better. its easier to tell where the limit is and catching slides and shifting the weight around feels more natural. :) it actually runs faster on my pc than the original gtr. :thumbsup:

the graphics are okay. much better than gtr imo.

with driving force pro @400° and using the logitech g25 presets the game feels great :)  (full sim mode w/no tcs or abs)

in logitech profile i use the same ffb settings as lfs.

is the lamborghini 4 wheel drive? 
i am seriously thinking about buying this game now when it wasnt on my mind at all before.

downloading now, has taken 4 hours and has 2 to go. Thats said because on my 360 i can download a GIG demo in 30 minutes.

I love it! The Murcielago R-GT is just wonderful, it makes a really fantastic sound and dear god, is it fast. I'm really looking forward to the full version of this sim. Best of all, Starforce is gone from it, unlike their two past games.

I can only begin thinking of all the different track and car combinations I'll enjoy racing! images/smilies/w00t.gif

meh, it's ok

I was expecting some really good graphics from when i saw the trailers but it doesn't look that big of an improvement over the original.

As for the gameplay, hard to tell cause i've been playing an F1 sim for the last few weeks and i'm driving these GT cars like thy're F1 cars nad they can't perform as well, duh, lol. Also the force feedback through the wheel is really good but to me it feels like the cars just don't have any power steering, they always want to turn and not stay in a straight line.

does anyone know how to change the graphics? my 32 inch runs at 720p uh 1360x768 and the game looks like crapdizzle in 800x600.

yeah in options... lol
or go to the gtr2demo folder and click gtr2config. if you have a powerfull pc, you might want to turn on some AA and AF. images/smilies/smile.gif

i havent tested framerates myself.

In options it didn't do anything for me, could it be because of my refresh rate being 60hertz?

It automatically adopted my desktop settings... Depends on how you push the signal to the LCD I guess... 1360x768 works perfect for me...

I have freaking understeer with the Ferrari...

its much improved over gtr/gtl... but i think i will wait for driver's republic as long as i can. that game has much better phyisc/force feedback even in its super early alpha stages.

gtr2 uses canned force feedback effects rather than calculating the force on the steering column. at least thats how i understand it. its very easy to feel the difference.

theres an article in the april autosimsport. page 13 i think. its a good read it explains everything

It's great, the Elise is great fun even if it's the slowest, and the sounds of all the cars are awesome. Runs pretty well on full settings too. 62 car grids are insane.
