I just got NFS Carbon to try out my new system, but everytime I go into options and try to adjust the graphics it freezes. My system specs are
AMD X2 4600 (@2.86ghz 249x11.5) ECS KN1 Lite Mushikin DDR400 2x1GB (carry over from old setup) Ultra X-Connect 500W PSU (carry over from old setup) Biostar 7600GT DDR3 256mb (oc'd to 646/811) The system is tested stable @2.86ghz, but I even turned the cpu overclock down to 2.55ghz, it still does the same thing. Do I need a driver update for my video card? I did the AMD and MS dual core fixes, will they interfere with the game? Is there a patch for this game that I must get? Please help, thanks. Here's a screenshot when it became unresponsive.

And anyhow, it's an EA game, how dumb can you be when you expect it to work flawlessly?
