Car: None... :'c LFS Status:  Rep Power: 25   |  rFactor photo thread (56k go away) Since we have a Live for Speed photo thread, I figured we could also do one for rFactor, as well. So, here are some of mine, from my favorite mods (Most touched up in Paint.Net) A Holden VE Commodore V8 Supercar cornering at Surfers Paradise...  Paul Tracy's Champ Car diving through the corkscrew at Laguna Seca  A Formula Nippon accelerating onto the start/finish straight at Suzuka  A Tyrrell 009 fending off an Arrows A1 at Monaco  A Panoz Esperante GT2 slewing through the snow at Mountain Sprint, with an Esperante GTS chasing after it  A McLaren-Mercedes MP4-20 enter the first corner of the Shanghai circuit.  A BMW 320 E21 attacks the Karussel  What happens when an accident occurs at Macau in the game. (The traffic jam is trying to push forwards, The Panoz GTR-1 and the F3 racer are trying to turn around and go back up the track in the wrong direction. And this is the narrowest section of an already quite tight circuit)

Ran a 60-car all-car race for 45 minutes and this happened just as the timer hit 0:00  More to come soon. Just let me search through my replay files.

Rep Power: 13 | Offtopic, but... Can you guys tell me if rFactor is worth buying? I read some reviews of this game and it was given good marks. And is it playable without all the mods, because I don't have time to care of it, I just want ready to use product  Your screenshots made me want to play it.

Car: (as soon as I get my license) 2001 Focus 1.8D Rep Power: 34 | Worth it, but the mods make it better. The basic game only has two worthy and real cars/car brands: the BMW Sauber F1.07 and the range of Panoz endurance race cars. Go to www.rfactorcentral.com for all kinds of mods and pick your favorites. There are some must-haves there, both cars and tracks. Some are not really good, but there are examples of how simulation should be at its highest level, especially with the tracks (and soon cars) made by a particular modding team...

A plucky 2CV struggling to get up a hill...  Bentley Speed 8 in the snow:   DTM at Albert Park... WHAT?
