Rep Power: 18 ![]() | Anyone know if there'll be a new rally game coming soon in the next 6 months? Like Richard Burns or Collin McRae's? I want to try richardburns but i can't find a copy at all. UPDATE: HOLY COW I FREAKIN LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! It's so hard to drive but i guess it's because it's simulation. You can't gas it at all... and it easily understeers into the trees if i dont be careful. But when i pull off those turns correctly, omg those drifts are so nice. I really love this game! it's cool they teach you how to initiate oversteers, now i feel like i can do the same in the STI. For some reason, my CPU loaded temperature has jumped 10+C. It used to be at 57C now it's loaded to like 70C. Kind of scary. Same for graphics card, it used to be about 58C but now it's being pushed to 69C. I wonder what the hell is wrong.

| Richard Burns is the best I've played to date. It'd be great if they came out with a sequel, but even if they don't, I'm still not sick of it. If you've never played it, be prepared for a challenge. It ain't no wussy boy's rally game, and you can't keep the pedal floored at all times. It takes some skill for sure. Mistakes are very costly and crahses come easily for the careless. Very, very realistic, but very, very fun as well. and you have a PM BTW..... ![]() I also saw that TOCA 3 is available now to purchase as a download, so this would be better that having to put in the CD every time. The only bummer is that I already bought the CD version (haven't recevied it yet though) | |

Car: BMW E46 328Ci Rep Power: 25 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I remember about 10 years ago there was a game called Network Q Rally of Britain and it basically had the whole Rally of Britain/Wales in it. The courses were sometimes 50kms long and there were just Group N cars as well. We once sat down to play the whole game and we worked in shifts. We finished it after staying up all night. The crap thing was if you hit something, your alignment would go out and it would be an absolute pain for the rest of the course.

I remember one time when I was at the longest stage of the game(58 point some kilometres IIRC). I lost sixth gear rather early in the stage, the box kept selecting neutral all the time, then I lost fifth at about three quarters of the way, and had some other troubles as well. But I finished the stage, only to find that I couldn't change the gearbox in the service! Talk about a letdown. Those were the days... | |
