I know I definitely want to go see it. There's just something so right about a mustang with machine guns and a hot chick in the passenger seat.

The plot sounds stupid enough, but the action looks alright. I can't help but keep watching the trailer over and over again.

Yup, agree there, though i can't help thinking why he agreed to do a film with such a crap-sounding storyline.. I'm generally of the belief that nobody can think of anything new to do anymore - the Death Race idea is cool, but then they practically tell you the rest of whats gonna happen in the trailer.. and it seems soooooooo standard images/smilies/dry.gif

This is a remake/sequel to a very funny film that starred david carradine and sylvester stallone (death race 2000). :p

That movie was also the inspiration for carmageddon, one of my favourite gaming franchises of all time. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

No, it's more like the Speed Racer movie where they're more "dog-fighting with cars", but they're actually given guns this time rather than just slamming each other around.
