Default Spiderman 3

Anyone watched yet? Watched it last night. It was okay, nothing compared to the previous ones.

It was ok but Spiderman has never really been one of my favorite comic book heroes.

I was disappointed as well: too many villains, not enough Venom, emo Spiderman... images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

They took their sweet ass time getting to venom. It was good in that I never got bored of it, I just kept wonder "what the hell is taking so long!" To much time wasted with Parkers personal life, but still plenty of Spidey scenes. Essentially, the movie could have been shorter.

Still a good flick regardless. Hopefully, if they make another one, they'll bring on Carnage. images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Saw it on friday. Not bad ( in my opinion it's the best of the three movies) but the story had to cope with too many things happening at the same moment. Venom was the biggest disappointment for me, it was like it was added to the movie because of the fans, not because of the story so it was a bit out of place. But funny enough.

I liked it. Though not as good as 2, 3 was solid enough. Three villains seems like too much, but I don't think it slowed the story down. I loved Venom as a kid and it was cool to see him in this movie, though only for a short time.

If they make a 4th, they NEED to introduce The Lizard.

Peter Parker strutting down the street like he's god's gift to women pretty much ruined that movie.

I will go to see it on Wednesday. I am a little concerned because none here liked it... oh well. It can't suck more than Spiderman 1. It just can't.

I liked it. Did you like 2? Because if you didn't like either of the previous then there is no reason to see 3.

i had 2 on UMD (got it free with my PSP) and i liked it, but i think they have sucked all the goodness out of spidey now. won't be wathcning this one until it appears as a torrent download. not sure if it will even be worth the bother of downloading...

As a movie Spiderman sucked sweaty donkeyballs. images/smilies/smile.gif Green Goblin was a complete dissapoiment... he looked like platic, the glider was plastic, the missiles were... probably made out of bubblegum. images/smilies/mellow.gif I think it was true to the comics only when Norman Osbourne was talking to the mask.

I like Spiderman. Second one was alot better images/smilies/smile.gif Octavius was not as bad as in the comics but it was pretty sweet. Webslinging was better too. Im not bothered by the computer graphics. But if you watch Spiderman1 after seeing Spiderman2 I think you can understand what I am talking about. images/smilies/tongue.gif

It was a pretty good movie, although Toby MacQuire sorta ruins it for me because he isn't exactly the world's greatest actor. That vicious comb-over is gonna keep me awake tonight...

2 was much better than 1 IMO, I don't think that you will like 3. 2 was great because there was two plots going on at once, Octopus vs Spiderman and MJ vs Parker. Spiderman 3 has like 10 plots at once.

Good things? James Franco and Ursula...and some cool scenes. Oh, and Peter smacking that whore MJ.

Emo spider-man, crying.....and a bunch of other stuff that made me feel weird.

I liked 1 and 2, Spidey was my favorite hero. I was really looking forward to 3, a little for Venom, but mostly for Peter/Spidey struggling within himself -- like they touched on a little in the first one -- the guilt of letting the bad guy go instead of acting, choosing to be a moral person -- Goblin himself after trying to sway Spidey to evil said "We are who we choose to be".

I saw 3 at midnight on opening night, I was disappointed. Having had time to reflect on it, it became the typical superhero sequel -- high on mindless CGI and fighting, low on character development. What makes 1 and 2 work are the people stories behind the superhero antics. 3 is just missing that. I didn't really care about Peter, MJ, Harry, Flint, Eddie, et al. Even between Peter and MJ, the actors were kind of stumbling in the dark. I think the story has already been told and now they were sleepwalking. MJ knows who Peter is and they love each other, where else do you go?

Venom could have been cooler, he didn't actually do much. The symbiote just attaches after a meteorite falls to earth with it and it happens to latch on to Peter. They don't really explore him doing things and not remembering. It just makes the suit black, you don't really see any alien influence (like it bonding with his thoughts, etc.) until he sheds the black costume and it latches on to Brock.

Emo Peter and Black Spidey could have been touched on, but I didn't get the sense of internal torture he should have gone through. The internal struggle was barely touched on and that's what I wanted to see the most. Reminded me too much of Spawn.

Sandman was a throwaway villain, just an ordinary thug. Even though he "really" killed Uncle Ben and the scene is redone FOR THE THIRD TIME. Venom becomes even more throwaway. New Goblin was OK and I thought Harry knew where to poke for pain.

What a terrible piece of garbage this was... I just kept laughing throughout the movie at how emo Peter was being. It didn't help that his appearance on Fifth Gear last week was also unwatchable.
